Governor Asa Hutchinson signs “Arkansas Cyber Initiative” bill into law

The signing of the Arkansas Cyber Initiative bill is a pivotal victory in ushering in an aggressive collaborative effort to address the growing cyber threats within Arkansas and throughout the nation.

The State of Arkansas recognizes the pressing need for enhanced cyber security measures given both the growing malicious cyber activity and the presence of high stake assets in Arkansas.  This law authorizes the Arkansas Cyber Initiative to improve the cyber infrastructure of the state and to conduct research that advances Arkansas in next generation cybersecurity-related jobs.

The ACI is tasked with facilitating collaboration between government agencies, the private sector, and academia to coordinate the development of a robust cyber professional community. The ACI will develop an effort to respond to cyber incidents and enhance cyber threat assessments.

Partner with us to strengthen the Arkansas cyber community and secure our economic prosperity.
