Forge Institute began in 2018 with a mission rooted in the protection of critical infrastructure and the development of a skilled cyber workforce.
Founded with a vision to address the growing cyber threats facing the U.S., Forge Institute quickly positioned itself as a leader in cybersecurity innovation, workforce development, and resiliency. With support from grants like those provided by the Department of Energy, Forge Institute has fostered an ecosystem that empowers startups and entrepreneurs to develop cutting-edge solutions for grid-connected utilities, further bolstering national security.
The Arkansas Cyber Defense Center provides much-needed support to small businesses and utilities through cyber health checks and employee training. The Emerging Threat Center collaborates with utilities and manufacturers to actively hunt cyber threats and offers ETC memberships to provide the most up to date cyber threat information.
Looking to the future, Forge Institute will continue expanding its influence by providing crucial support to the cyber workforce. Their collaboration with the military SkillBridge program ensures that transitioning service members can seamlessly enter the civilian workforce with highly sought-after cybersecurity skills.
Additionally, through the Academy, Forge Institute offers specialized training courses to companies and individuals, meeting the growing demand for cybersecurity expertise.
