Mike Forgione is an experienced security, automation, and data engineer. He is the Director of Operations for Shadowscape, Inc. an intelligence driven cybersecurity services company. Mike has filled many roles over his 8 years of cybersecurity experience to include analyst, SIEM engineer, Cloud Architect and Engineer, Helpdesk Developer, System Administrator, and SOC team lead. He has provided operational support to many private companies in the many roles he has had. He has helped to develop the operational side of his previous security positions as well as his current position. Mike has also filled roles as an instructor to train military operators in subjects of Windows Exploitation, Linux Exploitation, Network and Operating Systems hunt theory and application. He has been a speaker as an acknowledged subject matter expert on automation. This includes a speech at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics lab and a number of security conferences. Mike has been recognized as a leader for over six years. He has managed over a dozen employees at a time while supporting mission critical operations. Mike has also been involved in developing new concepts of automation to be applied to threat intelligence, cybersecurity, and information technology. He is an experienced Senior Data/Cybersecurity/SOAR Engineer/Expert System administrator/developer, certified AWS Cloud Practitioner, SIEM engineer and SOC analyst. He is a member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Colorado Springs chapter and the FBI's Infraguard association. Mike received an Associates in Applied Sciences and Bachelors of Science from Devry University.
