What Participants Should Know
A foundational working knowledge of information technology for most courses
Some prerequisites & skill level vary based on the training topics, additional information is provided within course details
Make sure you are familiar with video conferencing capabilities such as Google Meet and Zoom
Have a good webcam and microphone
Keep background noise to a minimum and keep your camera on during training sessions (nobody likes talking to a little black box)
We suggest having two screens to view instruction and work on hands-on exercises simultaneously
Be familiar with SLACK communication channel and download the app to your computer and mobile device
Engage with your peers and the Forge Institute Community & Team Members, we’re all here to support you in your endeavors
